Nurotron Biotechnology Inc. develops and manufactures neural prostheses that use electric stimulation of the human nervous system to restore normal functions. At present we are developing a low-cost yet highly-effective electronic device to restore partial hearing to severely and profoundly hearing-impaired people. The electronic device is also called a "cochlear implant", which consists of an external sound processor and an implantable part, including a hermetically-sealed case, an integrated chip, and multiple intra-cochlear electrodes.
